Job Summary:
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision metal parts and components. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, or other machinery based on blueprints and specifications
- Load materials into machines and monitor machining processes
- Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure part accuracy
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as needed
- Document work performed and maintain production logs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Familiarity with G-code and machine control systems Fanuc.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work day/night shifts, overtime, or weekends if required
